We connect businesses and governments with our projects through carbon measurement and offsetting services and similar market-based approaches to causing good.

We grow and protect indigenous forests, delivering sustainable development outcomes in rural communities in Aotearoa and the Pacific Islands.

How carbon Offsetting works

Carbon credits come from the growth of new forests and the protection of existing forests from logging. Businesses and individuals buy carbon credits to offset their carbon emissions. This funds forest conservation efforts that create measured, reported and verified carbon benefits. This includes the costs of planting and maintaining a forest, as well as lost income for the landowner that would have come from farming or logging the same land.

The outcomes are:

  • Environmental benefits from sustainable land management, waterways protection, and biodiversity conservation;

  • Self sustaining income for landowning communities;

  • Businesses who are investing in a regenerative future.
