Carbon Management Programme
Measure | Verify | Reduce | Properly Price Residual Emissions | Offset | Certify
We are committed to helping reduce carbon emissions to avoid dangerous climate change. We do this by helping organisations, events, and products:
Measure and verify a carbon footprint.
Use this footprint measurement to develop and implement a smart carbon reduction plan.
Properly price remaining (residual) emissions and make a commitment to paying that price. This price needs to align with the social cost of those emissions to society.
Pay that carbon price for residual emissions by purchasing high quality carbon credits for those emissions that were impossible or prohibitively expensive to reduce.
Choose carbon projects that build bio-diverse, climate resilient landscapes through restorative reforestation.
Certify the result.
Measure - reduce what you can - offset what you can’t
By purchasing ethical carbon credits from our carbon project supply chain, organisations and products directly support the establishment and protection of indigenous forests and sustainable continuous cover exotic forests and woodlots.
The establishment and protection of these permanent forests takes carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere, enhances biodiversity, improves water quality, reduces soil loss through erosion, develops climate resilience and provides diversification and sustainable land use opportunities for land owners.
Nature Carbon Programme
Ethical carbon credits | Native Reforestation | Continuous Cover Forestry
We build bio-diverse, climate resilient landscapes. We do this by helping landowners develop and operate restorative forest carbon projects.
Conservation costs money:
Establishing the forest and the carbon project.
Conservation management.
Opportunity costs. This is the income the landowner is giving up to enable conservation on that land and needs to be replaced with income from something else.
We fund these activities through the creation and sale of ethical carbon credits.
